Film holding cast, crew calls in Green Bay
Area actors and actresses may find their lucky break as the independent film "Confessions of a Sailor" hosts a casting and crew call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the South Meeting Room at the Days Inn City Centre, 406 Washington St., Green Bay.
The maritime film is seeking acting talent for supporting roles, day actors and actresses and extras and production crew. One of the producers indicates much filming will take place in Door County.
"Confessions of a Sailor" is a project of the Media 153 Network, a collaborative effort of various artists. Standup comic Justin Kenneke, recently named Fox Cities Top Comic 2011 and winner of the Dairy Air Comedy Festival and Lakeshore's Top Comic, has joined the cast, and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay theater performance major Andrew Delaurelle is one of several local actors already working on the production.
For Thursday's open call, those interested in available acting roles should bring their resumes and headshots. Artists interested in available crew positions should bring their resumes and any samples of work.
The casting and crew calls will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit www.confessionsofasailor.com.
