Kudos to 'Confessions' Cast and Crew

The cast and crew of the indie maritime film 'Confessions of a Sailor' have been making their mark on the artistic world of northeast Wisconsin. The autumn months have observed their contributions in a variety of events. Over the weekend, Nov. 9-11, three cities were treated to great theatrics. In Manitowoc's historical Capitol Civic Centre, 'Confessions of a Sailor' actor Zach Lulloff took the stage by storm as U.S. Army surgeon Hawkey in Masquer's hit play 'M*A*S*H'. Another 'Confessions' actor, Austin Daoust, won over audiences as cowboy Will Parker in Southern Door High School's musical 'OKLAHOMA!' On Saturday night, the independent American western 'West of Thunder' premiered at the Weyauwega International Film Festival at the Gerald Opera House. The film, directed by Steve Russell and Jody Marriott Bar-Lev, won Best Picture at the festival. 'West of Thunder' featured the talents of 'Confessions' crew member Will Keizer as sound editor and supervisor as well as that of 'Confessions' actors Ed DiMaio, Lou Radebaugh and Keizer. Previously, the month of October brought out again the diverse acting talents of 'Confessions of a Sailor' lead actor Andrew Delaurelle in his performance of UW-Green Bay's eclectic and eccentric play 'bobrauschenburgamerica' at the Weidner Center.
